MLB Trade rumors always does a fantastic job when it comes to projected arbitration salaries, typically hitting them right on the number. With that in mind, there shouldn’t be many difficult decisions for Alex Anthopoulos when it comes to the Braves arbitration-eligible players.

Ramon Laureano was a nice story. He really was a godsend for a club that desperately needed an offensive boost, hitting .296 with an .832 OPS in 67 games for the Braves. However, it’s highly unlikely Laureano’s numbers would have looked as good over an entire season. This was a player that was designated for assignment earlier in the year by the Guardians, who don’t necessarily have a bunch of world-beaters in their lineup. $6.1 million is too much for his services. Laureano will likely be non-tendered, but that doesn’t mean the Braves shouldn’t have interest in bringing him back at a smaller figure.

Cavan Biggio will also be non-tendered. Huascar Ynoa will likely be tendered a contract as the Braves hope he can figure things out after all of the injuries. However, it does feel like he’s running out of slack. It’s put up or shut up time for Ynoa if the Braves give him another year. Kelenic and Lee are no-brainers. Both of them will be back for another season, and given the price tag, Eli White could return as well.
