Saturday Open Thread: Rivalry Weekend Rages On
Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images Apparently other college football teams are playing big rivalry games this week? Who knew! The early schedule is chock full of generational hate practiced at close range, including: 12 p.m. | Michigan at Ohio State | FOX The big game is actually kind of a big game this year, as Michigan looks to knock Ohio State down a peg in the playoff pecking order. 12 p.m. | Tennessee at Vanderbilt | ABC/ESPN+ I wouldn’t be too upset if Diego Pavia notched another big home win, especially at the expense of the Big Urnge. 12 p.m. | South Carolina at Clemson | ESPN This game could be 45-0 or 10-9 and either way it’s going to be so, so hilarious. 12 p.m. | Louisville at Kentucky | SEC Network The Bluegrass Cup is about being slightly less disappointing than your brethren. So, basically it’s a family Thanksgiving dinner with even more bourbon. This thread will stay active for the afternoon, though we may open a new one for this evening’s games, including the contest to find out which Texan SEC team gets the honor of being spotted 10-21 points next weekend in Atlanta by the Bulldogs. Everybody have a great afternoon, and maybe take a nap. Go ‘Dawgs!!!
